Brooks Mackender
Inside the revolving door at Aqua Penny’s in Leawood, you’ll find Brooks behind the largest raw bar in the city. He is our regions second member of the Oyster Masters Guild, and we’re lucky to have him, join him at our festival, and attend one of the many classes he hosts on oysters and caviar!

Brandon Hayden
Over the years I’ve been tremendously lucky to have met some exceptional people in this business. I have had the pleasure of sharing cold beers and bivalves on beaches and in bars from Boston to Austin to Washington. It’s been a pretty cool gig for a guy that grew up 750 miles from the closest ocean, and my hope for this event is that I can share some of those experiences with you here.
